Share Our Strength’s mission is to encourage Americans to host bake sales within their communities to support the No Kid Hungry® Campaign and to end hunger by 2015. In New York City, that means the 3rd Annual NYC Food Blogger Bake Sale on Saturday, April 28, 10am – 5 pm at the Brooklyn Flea.

For the last two years, food bloggers have come together to raise money to support the campaign. I’ve long been an enthusiast of bringing the online food blogger community together with offline special events. As the creator of this dessert blog, I can combine my two passions to locally support the national effort.

Lillian (from the Sweets by Sillianah blog) and I have recruited well-known food bloggers, baking enthusiasts, cookie designers, and bakeries from the NYC area to bake for a cause. Since all baked goods are in limited supply, come early to get the best selection.

I want to thank Lillian (@sweetsillianah) for her tireless effort and being the best project partner to work with. Thanks to all the food bloggers, bakeries, and cookie designers who generously donated their time and positive energy.
